Teaching can sometimes feel like an isolated profession. Even in a busy school, it is rare to have another professional watch you work simply to help you grow. An independent observation is a powerful tool for your personal professional development, completely separate from your school's formal appraisals or performance reviews.
Here is how an external point of view can help:
An Unbiased Perspective: Get fresh, constructive insights on your classroom dynamics without the pressure of a manager watching.
Targeted Troubleshooting: Identify exactly why a specific class feels "stuck" or why a certain student is disengaged.
Bridging the Gap: Discover whether classroom friction stems from the lesson planning stage or the live delivery.
Confidence Building: Validate what you are already doing brilliantly and refine the areas you want to improve.
I have designed this process to be as stress-free and supportive as possible. You remain in complete control of the environment.
Book Your Slot & Choose Your Feedback Style Select a time for your observation using the booking calendar below. Standard booking includes comprehensive written feedback. If you prefer to talk through the lesson together, you can add a 30-minute Zoom oral feedback session for a supplement of €15. If you choose the oral feedback, I will send you a separate booking link for that meeting once your initial observation is confirmed and paid for.
Share Your Context Before our lesson, you will use [this link - to be added] to upload your lesson plan or answer a few brief questions about the class. You can provide as much or as little detail as you like. However, sharing a basic plan with your aims and stages is highly recommended, as it helps me pinpoint whether any challenges arise from the lesson structure itself or the live execution.
The Observation I will join your online classroom at the scheduled time. To ensure you and your students are comfortable, you get to decide the setup: just let me know beforehand if you prefer me to have my camera on or off during the class.
Observation Packages: Consistent feedback is the best way to track your growth. If you are looking for ongoing support, I offer a discount when you book a package of 5 or more observations.
Rescheduling (The Illness Safety Net): Teaching is unpredictable, and sudden illnesses happen. You can reschedule your observation once, completely free of charge, provided you give at least 1 hour's notice before the lesson begins.
Cancellations with 7+ days' notice: If you need to cancel outright, you will receive a full refund, minus a €5 administration fee.
Cancellations with 1 to 7 days' notice: You will receive a 75% refund of the booking fee.
Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice: Outright cancellations within 24 hours of the lesson are non-refundable. (Please remember: if you are unwell, you can always use your free rescheduling option up to 1 hour before the class instead of cancelling!)
